2015 Volkswagen Passat

Scanned for codes and found DTC Present 03840 right front speed sensor incorrect signal, 00285 ABS wheel speed sensor front right electrical problem in circuit, 01325 ECU tire pressure -Monitoring J502 no signal and B10B300 Passenger occupant detection function. Restriction due to impossible message. Performed visual inspection to ABS system and found nothing abnormal , removed ABS sensor on right front and found rust inside, clean some of the rest and re install sensor, clear codes test drove vehicle and no more codes return. If codes are back recommend wheel bearing on passenger side and wheel speed sensor.

Mileage150,797Service Date3/4/2026Services Performed- Checked customer's concern, scanned vehicle for codes and found code P0303 Misfire in cylinder #3 and code P0171 fuel system too lean bank 1, performed visual inspection to engine bay and found pcv hose collapsed, replace hose and continued with diagnosis, monitored misfire data and confirmed misfire on cylinder 3, swapped ignition coils from cylinder 3 to cylinder 1 and misfire moved to cylinder 1, this test indicates faulty ignition coil. Recommend ignition coils replace.Ispected vehicle for noise and found noise coming from pulleys, removed serpentine belt inspected pulleys and found water pump pulley has play causing noise, also suspecting alternator bearings. Recommend replace water pump and recheck for noise. Noticed motor mounts are worn out, recommend motor mounts
